Information

• While Donors are required to declare only their donations, Political Parties and Associated Entities must give details of all receipts above the disclosure threshold for the financial year ($11,900 for 2011-12). Many of these receipts are not donations and may represent, for example, subscription fees or proceeds of goods sold. Although not required by law, most Political Parties and Associated Entities mark each receipt as a ‘donation’ or an ‘other receipt’.
• It is recommended that you read the Glossary for terms that are used in the Annual Returns Locator Service to ensure correct interpretation of information provided.
• Depending on the volume of concurrent users, you may experience a short delay while data is being downloaded.

This service contains a database of records that have been entered from the original Annual Returns lodged with the AEC. Copies of the original returns, as submitted, are available as Adobe Acrobat PDF files. While all efforts have been taken to ensure the accuracy of the information in the database, the definitive information is that contained on the returns. Any information obtained from the database should be confirmed against the original PDF returns.

Political Parties and Associated Entities with late lodgements

• completed returns lodged after the 20 October 2012 deadline
• returns not lodged as at 01 February 2013, the cut-off date for processing of returns prior to public disclosure
